This Privacy Policy describes how Maelora Jewelry (“Maelora”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit maelorajewelry.com (the “Site”), make a purchase, sign up for our emails or text messages, or contact us.
Maelora Jewelry is operated by NRK Business, Wayesteinsingel 169, 2151KV Nieuw Vennep, The Netherlands. NRK Business is responsible for your personal information as described in this policy.
1. Personal Information We Collect

- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address
- Order details: products purchased, order history and payment confirmation (we do not see or store your full card number)
- Communications: messages you send to our customer service, including photos you share with us
- Marketing preferences: whether you have signed up for our emails or text messages

- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, time zone, pages viewed, products viewed, search terms, referring website and how you interact with the Site

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, health information or precise geolocation.

3. How We Share Your Personal Information
We share personal information only with parties that help us run our business:
- Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes checkouts
- Payment processors, such as Shopify Payments and PayPal, which process your payment
- Our fulfillment partner in China and shipping carriers, to deliver your order and handle returns
- ParcelPanel, to provide order tracking
- Klaviyo, to send our marketing emails and text messages
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, for advertising and analytics
- WeTracked, to measure the results of our advertising
- Authorities, courts or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing information with advertising partners such as Meta and Google to show you personalized ads may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising”, under certain US state privacy laws. You can opt out of this at any time (see section 7).
4. Text Messages (SMS)
If you sign up for our text messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages from Maelora Jewelry at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or text message consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Emails
If you sign up for our emails, we will send you news, offers and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email. We will still send you emails about your orders, such as confirmations and shipping updates.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used and show you relevant ads. These include the Meta Pixel, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie banner on the Site and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal (see section 7). Our Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as there is no common standard for them.
7. Your US State Privacy Rights
Depending on the state where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information

How to opt out: visit our Your Privacy Choices page, linked in the footer of the Site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out for that browser and device.
How to make other requests: email info@maelorajewelry.com with your request. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide with the information we hold, and respond within the time required by law. You can use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, as long as we can verify their authority.
Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing info@maelorajewelry.com with the subject “Privacy appeal”. We will respond to your appeal within the time required by law.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill your orders, provide customer service, run our marketing (until you unsubscribe) and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the Netherlands, and some of our partners are located in the United States, China and other countries. Your personal information may therefore be processed outside your home country. We take reasonable steps to protect your information when it is transferred.
Because NRK Business is based in the European Union, we also process your personal information in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your information to perform our contract with you (your order), based on our legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention and improving our Site), to comply with legal obligations, and based on your consent where required (such as marketing messages). You can withdraw your consent at any time. You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Payments are processed by secure, PCI-compliant payment providers, and your full card details are never stored by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
